Description
The PAD-HD receives an ATSC or QAM RF signal and converts it to analog video and audio in letterboxed 16:9 or centered in 4:3 outputs. It has a digital terrestrial F-connector input and composite video and audio outputs for connection to a TV set or re-modulation into an analog modulator.

The robust modular package is designed for commercial applications. It can be located at the head end site arranged in a standard modular chassis in configurations of 6 demodulators, or 4 demodulators and 4 modulators. It will operate with the existing power supply load currently used for the mini-modulators.
